I’ve been out of Rwanda for a few weeks training journalists for the BBC and lecturing MA International Journalism students at British universities. I head back to Kigali tomorrow and I’m slowly getting back up to speed on the news in Rwanda.
The big international news story in my absence has clearly been the Wikileaks diplomatic cables, which was hard to miss as I’ve been staying at the Frontline Club where the head of Wikileaks has also been staying on and off for a few months. If you are interested in searching the cables for mentions of Rwanda and the Great lakes region as a whole, I recommend you use Cable Search.
Meanwhile, the picture above was taken on the road to Nyanza half in the wing mirror and half on the street.
