I was riding through Kacyiru yesterday on a beautiful, sunny day when I took this photograph with my phone from the back of a mototaxi. It’s a little dark and brooding, but there’s something about it I quite like. Perhaps it’s the curvature of the cobbled road, which are common on this side of Kigali. I like it when a photograph taken with a phone comes out half passable. Next week, I’ll be posting photographs from some other (far better) photographers in Rwanda and hopefully learning a little about the stories behind their images.
